nRF54L15 Wireless SoC and nPM2100 PMIC for Extended Battery Life

With an ultra-low power multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio and MCU the nRF54L15 is the largest memory option of the Nordic nRF54L portfolio, featuring multiprotocol support (Bluetooth®  6.0, Thread, Zigbee). It features an 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor and comprehensive peripheral set with 1.5 MB NVM + 256 KB RAM.

The nPM2100 is the industry’s first ultra-low power PMIC purpose-built for primary cell battery devices. Pairing nRF54L solutions with the nPM2100 enables power saving efficiencies ideally suited for medical wearables, asset tracking, smart home, remote and peripheral controls.

Overview

With its ultra-low-power multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio and MCU, the Nordic nRF54L15 is ideal for wireless device designs. With 1.5 MB of non-volatile memory (NVM) and 256 KB of RAM, the nRF54L15 wireless SoC offers the highest memory capacity within the Nordic portfolio, making it ideally suited for advanced, memory-intensive designs. Beyond its expanded memory, the nRF54L15 delivers best-in-class power savings, multiprotocol capabilities (including Bluetooth® 6.0, Thread, and Zigbee), and cost-effective performance for demanding applications. 
 
The nPM2100 is the industry’s first PMIC purpose-built for primary cell battery devices. This compact all-in-one solution features an ultra-efficient boost converter and comprehensive suite of advanced power-saving capabilities like 35nA Ship Mode for convenient shipping and storage. For designs with extended idle times, the combination of nRF54L SoCs with the nPM2100 PMIC can achieve up to 3x longer battery life through hibernation mode.
