Developing in WiFi-Basic is fast and easy! The low-level operation of Wi-Fi communication has been abstracted into simple high-level functions. The fully Integrated Development Environment (IDE) features a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that generates your initialization code automatically, a syntax highlighting editor, the language compiler, a project manager and a debugger that supports wired or wireless operation. WiFi-Basic is a structured language with an IDE that promotes an iterative development cycle through quick compilations and downloads.

    

Need to Add Wi-Fi Capability to an Existing Design?

The WiFi-IT! is available with a simple to use Serial-to-Wi-Fi application allowing an 8/16/32-bit microcontroller to access a Wi-Fi network via UART or SPI interface. The TCP/IP stack and services reside on the WiFi-IT!, completely offloading the host processor. In addition to providing the IP to Wi-Fi functionality, the WiFi-IT! supports WEP/WPA/ WPA2 security and adhoc networks as well as Wi-Fi Protected Setup for easy provisioning.

Using a module is an ideal solution for organizations with limited or no Wi-Fi expertise.  It removes the burden of testing and certification and dramatically reduces RF design time, all of which accelerate time to market.
