Live From the Embedded Systems Conference, Boston -Captain's Log Day 1

Monday, September 21, 2009

We arrived at our booth at the Embedded Systems Conference, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to tackle the mountain of boxes our very efficient warehouse team shipped a few weeks earlier.  The folks at GES and Tech Insights did a great job getting our stuff to us and in perfect condition.  As we anxiously opened each box, it soon becomes apparent that this task will not be quite as easy as it seems when we were planning it back home.  We kick it into high-gear and get it going, Boston has provided us with an lovely warm and sunny day that we would like to see more of!!  By 2pm we pretty much had it in the bag, and the graphics our creative director slaved over are looking quite sharp.  Had a few technical difficulties with our computer set up, but our CIO, as always came to the rescue and got us all hooked up.

Finally we are free to enjoy the day, our Directory of Technology led us on a forced march through Boston Commons in search of a much-need meal, then back to the hotel to meet up with Bluegiga and Silvertel for some evening fun. Overall a very full and productive day.

The papers are all saying that ESC has record attendance and are expecting a big crowd!! We're excited to see everyone we know and to meet some new folks. We're ready to talk tech with engineers and have high-level people from Silvertel, Lantronix, Telit and Fujitsu in our both. Our Director of Technology, Northeast Regional Manager, Northeast Field Application Engineer and some of our Field Sales Reps will all be there. If you're at the show, come visit us at booth 714.

Two days is certainly a short time to do all there is to do and see all there is to see, so we are expecting a busy couple of days...Can't wait!!!!
