At MWC 2019, MediaTek demonstrated a live 5G connection using its Helio M70 in conjunction with Nokia AirScale 5G Base Station and Anritsu’s Radio Communication Test Station MT8000A, emulating what you'll see in a real-world scenario.
Both the MediaTek Helio M70 5G modem and Nokia AirScale 5G Base Station are compliant with the 3GPP Rel-15 5G New Radio (NR) standard, ensuring compatibility across different network architectures and connected devices both on mid and high-frequency bands to meet operator and regional requirements.
