MediaTek is adding AI into its advanced connectivity platforms for consumer and enterprise applications. This can enhance existing services like a QoS that learns user or device behavior and optimizes accordingly. It can also detect patterns in Wi-Fi signals to monitor if someone falls over, or if an intruder enter the house.
MediaTek has already brought AI to the MT8665 V-ADAS with AI-Vision 1.0 that can be used for driver identification and fatigue monitoring. The upcoming MT8183 platform also includes a multi-core AI processor capable of 280 GMAC/s.
