With both an Ethernet and serial port, customers can affordably link to a single IoT sensor or a network of sensors, virtually anywhere, with a router hardened to withstand extreme environmental conditions with MIL-STD-810G verification for shock, vibration and temperature, and an IP54 rating for dusts and water resistance.
The Digi® IX14 LTE industrial router gives customers a compact and secure means to connect low bandwidth, single asset applications with an Ethernet and serial port to link to a single IoT sensor or connect to a network of sensors. Now smart cities, retail and digital signage organizations can affordably connect critical sensing equipment, process automation and telco controllers, and remote data loggers using a router built to withstand the harshest environments.
Digi IX14 brings a new generation of edge computing capabilities to the device level, such as advanced scripting via open source Python 3.6. Digi Remote Manager® and Bluetooth® capabilities enable quick, secure and reliable installations and make on-going maintenance and security updates easier. Digi IX14 has been physically hardened with MIL-STD-810G certifications for shock, vibration and temperature, and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
