Micro Modular Technologies Pte Ltd. (MMT) was founded in Singapore in May, 2004. They offer products for GPS and wireless communications applications, with an emphasis on the design and manufacture of complete, high-performance, small form-factor modules at the lowest cost, thus allowing for rapid product development by customers. All of their products have available reference designs and evaluation kits with PC-based software for fast product evaluation and integration into customer designs.

Their design staff has many years of experience with RF technology, and they have design centers located in Singapore and in the USA. Mass volume production facilities are located in Thailand, and MMT employs fine pitch, flip-chip technology for all module packaging.

The technology known as Global Positioning System has been in existence for quite some time now in terms of high technology lifetimes, but only recently has it made its way into everyday life. There are many new applications that make use of GPS technology, including location and tracking services for personnel, vehicles, animals, and security applications, in addition to the traditional navigation uses.

Micro Modular Technologies (MMT) initially entered the GPS market in the 2005 with the MN1010 GPS Receiver module. MMT realized two industry firsts with the MN1010: the smallest size (10mm x 10mm), and the lowest power consumption (75mW) for an autonomous GPS receiver module. Since then, MMT has introduced more modules, all with outstanding GPS Signal Sensitivity and Time To First Fix performance.
