Innovasic Semiconductor Announces Production Availability for the Intel CAN Controller Replacement
ALBUQUERQUE, NM, May 1, 2009 - Innovasic Semiconductor, a leader in extended life semiconductor solutions, today announced production units are shipping for the IA82527. The IA82527 is a form, fit, and function replacement for the original Intel 82527 Serial Communications Controller. The Innovasic replacement supports the same CAN 2.0 Specification (Part A and B) as the original device, including standard and extended message frames. In addition, the Innovasic replacement has the capability to transmit, receive, and perform message filtering on standard and extended message frames.
The IA82527 is available in 44-Lead PLCC and 44-Lead PQFP RoHS-compliant packages for the automotive temperature range (-40°C to 125°C). Production samples are available now and may be ordered by going clicking here, or by contacting sales at sales@innovasic.com.
