Symmetry Electronics is looking for a full-time Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to help provide technical support with our video and embedded products.  In addition the TME will assist with the content of our web site, www.semiconductorstore.com

Job Qualifications:

BSEE, BSCE, ECE Technology, or CEE Technology degree required.

Must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking.  Familiar with electronic components, hardware design engineering, video processing design, customer service, and technical support.

Job description

Technical Support

1. Support and promote various video processing and embedded products offered by our suppliers such as H.264, HDMI, Graphics Display Controllers, and others
2. Become familiar with product development kits to help customers evaluate the technology and start their designs
3. Answer technical questions from design engineers regarding our supplier’s video and embedded products
1. Check datasheets and existing documentation / presentation material
4. Install drivers on customer’s computers and help troubleshoot.
5. Assist in training sales staff on new lines, products and technologies
6. Create reference designs using products from multiple suppliers
7. Communicate with internal and external resources (REPs, Suppliers, Sales, & Management)

Technical content for web site

1. Enter description information and features into a database about products.
2. Identify which parts synergistically fit with each other so that we can market them together to our engineering customers
3. Build electronic component kits to enhance the ability to cross-sell more than one product at a time.

A day in the life -

As a sales professional with Symmetry Electronics, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer accounts.  You will be in contact with design engineers and purchasing professionals to introduce our line card and support the demand and supply process.  We provide product training and have the latest IT infrastructure to support your efforts.
